I kicked ass today at work. I booked about 3K worth of orders !!! Yippee!. Hopefully that will make up for me missing last thursday and yesterday.
Mom is back in the hospital. Last night was a bad one. She wasn't able to breathe well even with the oxygen on. She had to call the nurse, she was scared. Unbelievably strong, yes she is.
Today they removed a lot of fluid and chemo began yesterday. She's all skin and bones, I'm afraid of the reaction she'll have with the chemo. She's excited though, fighting tooth and nail for her life.
I think of her often and smile.
I' m not sure if I already talked about the letter she wrote to me, and I'm too lazy to go back and look, so here goes..
My mom began journaling to family members in April. I got mine right away, she wanted me to get it then and there. Everyone else has to wait...ha ha I'm special...lol
The letter is very touching , and gives me peace. My Bertie Baby ( my special knick name for her ) gave me something to forever think about. She wrote " When I pass, watch for a gentle breeze to gently kiss your cheek- it will be me. I will always be with you.
Love her.
