New faces and strange places [Dear Diary]
It's amazing how much things can change in such a short amount of time. When I came to Amber, I never thought such things could happen. But they have. I've found friendship, I've found love. I have fought at the side of unlikely allies in the strangest places, and found myself more the fighter than I ever gave myself credit for. I've become intimate friends with my Regent, his trusted confidante. I call one of the Princes of Amber a beloved friend, one is changing my opinion of him, and another I have come to greatly respect and can now see why Adelgar told me not to play my usual trickeries on him.
Adelgar. How I miss my prince, my friend. I no longer have him to hide behind. And, as Emrys says, I am no longer his Fool. I am now the Viscountess Blukhav.

Mother, how far your little harlequin has come.
I've made a new friend, Maddock. He's nice, if a bit grumpy at times. But I manage to get smiles out of him, every now and then. He's good company. Rebman. He kissed me, so I could breathe underwater. It was rather incredible. Hopefully, we'll get to hunt in the deep waters together, soon. Maddock has strange dreams. I know all about those. Hopefully, I can help him.
Ran into the Brothers Windchaser while in Weirmonken. Hopefully, they are strong enough to get through this. If not. Well. Emrys did just commission that sword...
