I may seem like a complete idiot when i say this but: i never knew cows could be so big!

As the schools are switching to more 'hands on' learning with the introduction of the Foundation Phase, my school had a cow brought in on Friday to teach the 4 - 7 year olds where milk comes from and how to milk a cow.  The children then made milkshake/smoothies ( Read more... )

So today i went round Fatima and Amjad's to meet their 5 day old son.

I completely forgot how small and light babies are. *Sighs* He was just so cute, and he smelled really nice and babyish. They don't have a name for him yet, but it will probable be Rizik, since Arabic tradition is to name the first born son after the fathers' father. Fatima ( Read more... )
