Mom and Dad issue
Ok, I noticed that in the films they said that Circe was the one who seduced the king, and then they said that from the book the king seduced Circe. What happened?!
I think they both seduced the other and fell in love for a time, but then Radu was born and all hell broke lose from both parents. So Radu's kinda stuck in the middle of the issue beacuse the king is upset at having a nosferatu child while Cirece is pleased to have a powerful heir. Radu's mother was a powerful sorceress who could have zapped the king into nothing with a snap of her fingers but didn't. I think because she still loved him some place in her self that wasn't to twisted up. And the king only banished her instead of killing her and Radu as well.
It's sort of a possibility, and then again it may not be.
