For those who still check this and might be interested in physics games, check out http://www.crypticsea.com/. The ones I've tried are Gish and the bridge building game. Some of the things you end up having to do for the bridge building game are very silly, and I'm not even through it all yet. There's two batches of levels- the first batch is almost tutorial, except there isn't one, but they're almost all solvable by simple and sensible techniques.

Then there's the second batch, where you start having to counterbalance things in order to tilt the track upward, but not hit the ground so hard as to break the bridge, or build sections that are designed to collapse in the right sequence. It's nothing too shiny or special but it's a free download.

Gish is a easy $5 on steam, and if you're one of the people who has problems with steam or doesn't trust steam, well, that's not my problem. It's a platformer, with a whole lot of physics thrown in. I think there's a demo somewhere, give it a try, but seriously, c'mon, 5 bucks to get some pretty interesting gameplay made by an independent developer. I'd recommend a gamepad to play with, though.
