1. netflix sent me a bunch of movies out of my queue order. wtf is that hogwash? i will begrudgingly watch this jonestown documentary, but i would rather be watching wife vs. secretary and the women? the original women, how dare you.
2. did you know the large shake from mcdonald's is 770 fucking calories? i just had one for the first time in over a decade recently.
3. farmer's market again. this time i bought: yellow, orange and purple tomatoes. and some red ones. a seedless cucumber. two peaches. spring mix. $6. i saw they were selling some squash blossoms and i asked what anyone would use them for, and the girl said for quesadillas and stuffing. i think she thought i asked what anyone would use squash for. i still want to know about the blossoms, but i'm assuming they garnish extremely fancy salads. i also saw goose eggs. gross! they're huge.
4. finally going to sell some clothing at the buff. i tried on almost everything i never wear and i am getting rid of 3 large bags.
5. i am making more boxes and will probably finish my first embroidery project today. really kind of annoyed at how hard it is to paint raw wood with acrylic. it just doesn't cover it evenly. but spray-painting is so annoying and awful. plus i have to go outdoors. i am still missing all of my beading/jewelry making supplies and i'm pretty upset about it, since that's got to be untold-hundreds of dollars worth of crap, and such basic necessities that i can't do anything without re-purchasing ALL of it, at which point i'll probably find the missing boxes.
6. there's an arizona highways...fair sort of thing at the convention center and i sort of want to go, but i don't want to deal with parking and i have no one to go with! i don't think i have any friends who actually like this state. my general stance on this is that i want everyone who does not like it to leave immediately, but then i would have even fewer people to not hate. i am getting crustier and crustier in this regard, so furious all the time at all of the stupid bullshit citizenry who bitch and complain about this place and yet REMAIN so that my every drive is a hassle, my every transaction follows a long line, and my life is essentially made to be 40% worse than it could be if only at least a half million of these people would leave forever.
7. i watched the people vs. john lennon and was surprised that it contained so little new or uncommon information. also it was very sad and i turned it off prematurely at the end. but i am reminded to netflix some dick cavett. my plan of commenting on his column, fast forward a year or two, and getting married to him so far
HAS
NOT
WORKED
but i'm still into it.
