I am in the land of so many different kinds of work hell, there is hardly gigabites enough here to ennumerate them all.  However, in a minor break from routine, I got to call a meteorologist today for a year-end story on the North Carolina drought.  I love talking about the weather.  I love it even more than talking about sewers.  Because

I thought of you, even as I wrote that. And yet I do; I have a lot of errands to run and freelance work to do and it's really really hard to make myself do it when it's so freakin' gorgeous outside. Not to mention three seasons of Battlestar Gallactica to watch as quickly as humanly possible...

I'm home the week after Christmas, from the 29th through January 6th. Think you'll make it up? I cleverly planned my trip to capture the big Japanese festivities...
