Back from a tour of the land of tinsel, smog and UGGs. i'll admit, it felt pretty cool to be in the middle of a "Heroes" taping.

I'm leaving Santa Cruz for L.A. in the middle of my undergraduate career. Why leave? that snow-globe town of redwood trees, counter-culture hopefuls and pacifists--

--but God, am I thankful to be gone.
