My body is seriously fucking with my mind!
One day I'm peachy as pie and the next it feels like I'm broken.
This week has been exceptionally wonky, which is not fun during mid-terms. My back was acting up on Tuesday (must have slept weird, but it doesn't help that I already have some problems with my lower back) and something that felt like an onsetting cold. Went to soft ball practice despite back, taking it a bit easier though, and when I got home I made myself tea with ginger, ate some
daikon oroshi (recommended by Japanese friend) with my dinner and had loads of fruits.
Wednesday I had a test, but skipped the gym after that and went home. Fell asleep around 7 PM and woke up at 5 AM the next day. Which was fortunate since I had a oral-exam that I hadn't prepared for (not even written my actual presentation)! It went okay, and interestingly enough sleeping 12 hours mostly cured me of my cold, except for a delightful cough that still lingers. And then I went to a chiropractor, got electrical-chair massage, electric-impulse massage and finally a proper massage! It eased my back, but I will have to go again (luckily it's cheap). After lack of working out I was restless before going to bed, so I went for a midnight run and slept a whole lot easier.
Friday I had two classes, none-of-them big tests fortunately. After which I got my softball uniform for the game tomorrow! Which is awesome and exciting!! Had a bit of a laugh over the fact that our team (the Labradors) have the initials LA, like New Era, in almost the same style on our cap! Hadn't realized that before.
Finally spent 2½ hours at the gym blowing off some steam after a stressful week. Also watched some Generation Kill while doing cardio on the bike, bi-winning! My back definitely feels better after workout!
Now I'm gonna catch up on some Doctor Who before bed (the Doctors wifeTardis! ♥). Wish me luck for tomorrow! And apologize for this utterly pointless post! |D
