I heart steroids

The Medrol Pak I've started kicked in today and my mood is awesome and my body feels so much better. Of course, I know the negatives here, but I'm hoping this really helps. It's so nice not to be in pain and to feel so relaxed and positive. Forget percoset! It's steroids I have to not get addicted to. ;)

I took a walk around my neighborhood last night and looked at the lights. My neighbor came out and started imitating my gimpy walk. That seemed... odd. All of my neighbors have been so generous by offering us meals all this past week.

Finn and I took his new blue roadster electric car outside to play with today. He's still scared to drive it, but not with mommy riding along. Heh. It drags a little with my weight, but it makes for a hilarious picture and a memorable experience. It's definitely a toy that he will continue to grow into.

I need to take it easy with the steroids masking the inflammation, but I swear sitting idle on the couch seems to make my hip hurt worse... that or I focus on it more.

Finally, in the ultimate of cuteness, I was pretending to be asleep during nap time and Finn tried to push on my tattoo like a button, then he tried to wipe it off and then he tried to get Melmo to "do" something with it. So cute!

Eric has been a great house husband lately with cleaning and cooking. Today he is making pot roast to take over to Manda and Paul who just recently gave birth to their daughter Amilia. Finn still is not asleep for his nap, but he's talking to Melmo so I'm letting him be for now. :)

hip surgery, steroids, 16 months, finn, eric
