Team Fortress 2 is damn shiny and damn fun and all around good. Even with no idea what the hell you're doing, and even on a server full of other people.
12 Monkeys, by Terry Gilliam, is an OK film inspired somewhat weakly by La Jetee, which remains its superior in terms of pathos and effective communication of ideas.
I am formulating plans to visit Finland for a roleplaying conference there in April 2008. Some, if not many, of the Warwick LARPers may be attending as well. As it's scheduled outside of term-time, it could be a very nice trip indeed.
