Mount St. Helens exploded in Washington State.  I was a senior in high school in Spokane, Washington and we were blanketed in ash.  It's something I'll never forget.  It was a very scary time because we didn't know what was going to happen next - would the other volcanoes in the Cascade Mtns. explode, was the ash really dangerous, etc.  The Spokane ( Read more... )

It truly is spring here.  There is a gorgeous blue sky out right now and it's about 58 degrees and yet there are warnings for freezing temperatures tonight!  My neighbors down the street have two beautiful dogwood trees in their front yard and I had to take a picture of them today.  I love the way the pink and white intermingle... it always makes ( Read more... )
