Finally, some answers
After a week and a half, going to see the doctor a couple of times and an MRI test, I finally know what the next step is with my knee! There is a lateral tear in the meniscus of my right knee and so I'm going to have to have surgery. :( There are other things going on in there as well, mostly related to my rheumatoid arthritis, and if I don't have the surgery then it will just get worse over time.
So, I'll have the surgery on April 9th... the middle of my spring break. Fun, huh? It's the soonest they could schedule it. It's basically a day surgery, though I do have to be put out for it. I'll use a walker or crutches for a week or so and then we'll go from there. He didn't mention it, but I imagine there might be some sort of physical therapy...
I hope it all goes really well... I'm going on a cruise in the middle of June! :)
