I know I don't post very often so I thought I'd give an update like post!
Well, Dave and I have been pre-approved for a mortgage and are house shopping as we speak, we will likely be living in the North End, but that doesn't bother me as much as it bothers others. I've walked the streets near the Albert, the collective and many other downtown like areas and nothing has happened to me. Of course there is fear of break ins and car jackings, but since that pretty much plagues the whole city now I don't worry about it all that much. Our other option is in Transcona, a lot more expensive and in need of SERIOUS fixage uppage. It might have a mould problem which I fear more than a gang problem, ha! We'll just see.
In other news, I'm in my third year at the U of M, persuing my sociology/criminology degree, depending if I get into honors in May. With all my current marks it shouldn't be a problem, but we'll see how research methods rolls out, I really do hate math.
I also got a job with zee Tax Centre for a term starting on the 7th, sweet cash and then hopefully another term right after, money will be good for mortgage paying and the like!
Dave hates his job, but I'm pretty sure that's how it always rolls with long term jobs hopefully we'll find him something else he'll enjoy.
Life is pretty a-okay, no real complaints. There some other random happenings that really aren't meant for my disclosure so yes!
Oh, and people I haven't talked to in awhile lets get in touch and hang out! I'm looking at you Matt! haha.
