well, my life is boring, but at the same time there's so much going on. ok, so let's see: I saw 13 Going on 30 with my friend Emily. (sorry ash, I'll def. go again with you). I loved it! I mean it was SOOO good. I asked Emily if this was a crier before the movie started and she said no, but I remembered what Cathy said, and I decided that I should be ready. Good thing I was because I cried twice. Once just briefly, but the second would have definitely visible if Emily had turned to look at me. Good thing she didn't.
ok, so my birthday went well, thanks for the calls girls, they all made me smile :) Cathy's messages always have me in hysterics! Manny even called and wrote me a poem which was so cute. I saved the message so I'll write it while I listen to it:
Tracy you are 19, so break out the champagne and confetti.
In two years you can drink alcohol, but you've been doing that already.
I thought long and hard about what i should get you: a necklace, a bracelet, or a gown.
I thought about taking you out to dinner, but I knew you'd turn me down.
So instead I read you this poem that I bet will make you smile,
And since we aren't as close, it'll help you remember me for a while.
So live it up today Trace, because you are only 19 once.
I hope you get all the things that every woman wants.
How cute is that?! it was such a good poem. I called him and thanked him and we had a good conversation, but it was just so distant. it's so weird when you talk to someone you cared about and loved more than anyone else in the world, and now there aren't any feelings. It's so weird. anyway, we had a good convo, I made him laugh a couple times. Hmm...I went to my bro's state cup semi finals and they won, then I went out to dinner with emily and we went to the mall for a little. Then my family cooked a BBQ for the first time this year, and my other friend roseann came over and we watched tv until like 11, and then i was so tired i went to bed! very uneventful, but it was good and fun! And I got a sports watch from my parents, a photo album from emily, and a shirt from roseann...good stuff!
today I went with my mom back to 15th and sansom for this "great yoga place." My mom hates yoga and I've never tried it, and now we both know why. The room was really hot...around 110 degrees, so you POURED sweat as soon as you walked in. THEN, it lasted an hour and a half. It was really tough, and I don't think I'm going to be doing it again. I sweated like all of my water out. ok...i guess that's it. Hopefully I'll start writing more. I can't wait to hear about your stories KC...later chicas.
