AGH. It's still Saturday! :P Midnight schmidnight.
Today, I woke up and listened to Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me! and This American Life on NPR while my dad finished up some work and both my parents got ready for their trip to Tacoma & Toronto. They left around three.
My sister came over to say goodbye and she also dropped off a job application for me, for the receptionist job at the Animal Hospital. She's going to carpool with me on Tuesday, for my interview, and if I get hired. At least, on the days we'd be working "together". I think we do get along better when we only see each other for a few hours. She seems positive that I'll get the job, too. She's been holding out on me. I didn't know they were hiring!
In other news, I got into Pottermore today! YAY! I was a bit overzealous. I've got my wand (ceder and unicorn hair), a bard owl (which I've named Fizby, though there's not really any owl name thing... yet) and I got sorted! HUFFLEPUFF, BABY! I was worried I wouldn't get sorted into 'puff, and then I would've cried. It was so funny, too, cos I forgot how many questions there'd be, and I thought, 'I might not get Hufflepuff...', then it loaded all yellow with the badger and I literally (and loudly) cheered! :D
Then I watched video 1 & 2 from The Beatles Anthology boxed set (of VHS tapes). I'd seen video 2 so many times that I kept getting distracted, but it did make me laugh. I still ♥ George.
"He [Paul] was always nine months older than me... Even now, he's still nine months older than me."
"I was right handed. Still am."
Those make me laugh. Though, now, they're also kind of sad. :/
I'm such a nerd. But at least I'm proud of my nerddom.
