Busy busy busy busy busy.

Christmas is always busy, right? This is crazier than usual. I had a long rehearsal on Wednesday night for bells and choir. I went out Thursday with a friend. We went to the aquarium in Cincinnati on Friday, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Sean has been missing the ABQ aquarium, so he was especially happy.

Saturday morning, we had a 9 AM bell rehearsal that I had to collate new music for. (Yes, we're STILL getting new music for Christmas. Can we say "really freakin' disorganized?" Oh, yes, we can.) I was also looking for a CD for my dad. Thus, I didn't get to collate music until late, which meant I didn't get to bed until well after 1:00 on Friday night.

So, Saturday morning, three and a half hour rehearsal in the morning. I was home for a couple of hours, mostly cleaning frantically, before I left for an audition that started at 4:00. So, 6:30, I got out of there and went home.

More frantic cleaning ensued. Then my parents decided that rather than take the risk of flying standby, they would drive. Now they won't get here until late tonight.

That means I have to bake all the stuff I was planning to bake today with help by myself. I also had to cantor the 8:00 mass this morning, so I was at church by 7:20 to work on the prelude song I'd never seen before. Thank goodness it was easy. Now I have to stay for at least half of the 10:30 mass. I'll probably stay for it all, since I don't have to pick up my parents.

The night is off, except for baking and for people showing up and needing to get settled. And tidying, since the cleaning is mostly done. So not so much off.

Christmas Eve is cooking, Matt has to be there for the Children's choir mass at 3:30 until close to 6:00. Call for thems of us in bells is 9:30 for midnight mass. The I have to be there to play/sing the perlude for the 9:00 Christmas morning mass. I'm not staying for the whole thing, though. But did I mention I have to cook a turkey?

Must run back to church for rehearsal
