So far the new job Im at is going really well. The nurses are nice and friendly and very helpful, and the vets... well the vets are as expected, but a lot more manageable. Its so much easier working so close to home! Instead of getting petrol once a week Im getting it once every two to three at that! Also taking some time getting used to being paid weekly instead of fortnightly, a few adjustments need to be made there, but otherwise things are very good at the moment. I actually finish work and don't feel like I've had my soul dragged through my eyeballs via my brain.
Only thing thats bugging me now is that the possible hernia that I had building up at Bass Hill has (I think) finally torn through yesterday. Stupid Bass Hill. Lifting so many heavy dogs and bags of food and litter without help from there has really gotten to me. I was helping lift a anaesthetised dog back into her cage when I felt like someone had punched me in the side. It feels so bruised today, and when I tense up I felt a baby pea sized thing pop in and out, so I might see if I can try to go see a doctor some time when I have an availability.
Maybe if down the track it needs to be fixed surgically I could possibly get my haemangioma removed at the same time. God I hate this. Im 24 years old and I have more problems than a 60 year old. Its so embarrassing. I hate trying to explain this to people, especially loved ones, because it makes me look so pathetic and crippled. And I just get this look from them like Im broken or something and they treat me differently. Its really humiliating. Its like, yes I can't eat all the foods you eat, yes I have a bad back, yes I have a benign tumour and yes I have a hernia, I can't see for shit and also have a bung knee.. I can't run or do any physical activity involving my abdominal muscles... I know. I'm special.
*sigh*
Oh well. Its all uphill from here, right? :P
Yay, there's a storm. I love those. :)
