(no subject)
one more final! and then i'll be finished for the quarter! i'm not particularly excited to go home but it'll be a nice break. i just like being here at western better than being in kirkland. there's more stuff to do here, more people...
yesterday after my philosophy final, caitlin and i went to fairhaven so she could pick up some beads. it was so beautiful yesterday and we got coffee in one of the tiny espresso places. but on the bus on the way back, i felt so nauseous since some guy sitting near us smelled like BO and stale cigarette smoke. i can still kind of smell it, now.
after my chem final today, i grabbed lunch with caitlin and helen, and then caitlin and i headed downtown. we visited the pet store. they had baby ducks, baby geese and little chicks. it was like newborn day. and they had a cockatiel in a tiny cage, which was very depressing. we wanted to get a duck but we decided it probably wasn't a good idea. they were only $4! caitlin is really set on getting a bird for next year, so we'll see. maybe a parakeet.
wandered around downtown, and then we went to the mall so she could get a copy of borat... i love that movie so much.
i need to clean! but i'm putting everything off since more importantly, i need to read/study for history tomorrow. i hate history so much and i'm still trying to figure out why i took "american history before 1865." i've always hated history, and it's no different in college, even though my professor is great. "old hickory," shoot me now. so boring.
