I wished I could, so I did.
Here are a few things on my "learn how/get better at/get around to" list:
- Crochet diaper covers
- Sew my own diapers
- Make my own home decor (curtains, pillowcases, etc)
- Upcycle and reuse furniture, toilet paper rolls, etc
- Candle-making
- Make my own soaps and detergents
- Bi-monthly budgets and meal planning
- Get craftier with the crockpot
- (Once we move to FL) Have ny own vegetable garden!
- Maybe succeed at a few paintings?
Last but not least, I was thinking I may blog all of this. Give myself some sort of mission and share it with the world. We'll see.
I miss Jeff. He is in San Diego right now but they head south on Saturday morning. I'm going to miss talking to him :(. Less than 2 months left now though, and then we're done with this ship- YAY!!
I'd also love to blog about these things in the sense of sharing what I busy myself with as a Coast Guard wife to make the days go by faster and our living expenses lower, since military pay is not much.
