(no subject)
Jayelynn started wheezing last night just before bed. It continued through the night, and this morning it was pretty bad. I called Jeff and asked him to come home from work, I made her an appointment as soon as the doctor's office opened. He brought her in for me. Turns out, it was a mild allergic reaction.
I think she's allergic to almonds, as I let her taste some Rocky Road ice cream that I was eating last night and accidentally gave her a bit of almond on the spoon. It projected from her stomach, along with some other lovely stomach contents (not) and the wheezing started just a bit after. I'll have to make an appointment with the allergen that works with our doctor's firm soon.
They also mentioned it could be asthma, but I guess it's too early to tell right now. We're really hoping it's not.
Also, she woke up with a back and arms full of red bumps today. I am pretty darn certain we have bed bugs. She doesn't act like they're bothering her, and I thought they may be hives but the doctor said they look like bug bites. Hopefully we can just spray the house and get rid of them. I really can't afford a new mattress set right now, and especially not one as nice as the one we are currently using. My mom got us this one as one of our wedding gifts.
I'm so exhausted. Sleep deprivation really does bring out the worst cranky moods in me. Agh :(.
