First Kids Meal
On Sunday the 2nd, it was dinner time and we were driving aimlessly in the car. I told Jeff I wanted to go to a buffet because I haven't been to one in forever and I really had no clue what I wanted to eat! We've been eating out WAY too often but I haven't had any time to cook and Jeff's been taking advantage of that. Oh well.
So! We couldn't find a buffet, and I thought of stuffed french toast. Jeff has always ordered that the few times that we've gone to IHOP, but I'd never had it. I told him that was what I wanted, he put it into his phone's GPS and we were on our way.
I didn't want to feed Jayelynn the sweetness that is stuffed french toast, soooooooo we ordered her very first kids meal!! We got her a Rooty Jr, it was 1 pancake (I asked for sliced bananas instead of the sugary, artificial fruit toppings and whipped cream), 1 egg, 1 sausage link a 1 bacon slice. She actually liked sausage, she'd never had pork before and Jeff and I don't eat pork ourselves so it was a bit strange letting her eat it.
She didn't eat much, and I didn't give her the bacon, but it was still a milestone because it was her very first OWN meal, not just bits of pieces of what mommy and daddy ordered.
