And then my brain melted and oozed out of my head.

I don't wear my "going out" shoes around the house.  For one thing, most of them are uncomfortable in situations where I have to constantly step over things, but for another, I just don't like to wear heels doing housework or hear them click all over the hardwood floors.  So I wear something - flip flops, croc slides, etc. - when I am in the house and then change shoes before going to work.  Sully enjoys this change, because then he KNOWS I am leaving by the clickity clack of my "out" shoes :-)  Today I stayed pretty busy right up until time to leave, and I'm still trying to figure out the time frame for when I can leave and get there RIGHT at 1:00, because I really don't like to get to an hourly job one second earlier than I start getting paid to be there.  I left right on time and had an easy drive over to the university...aside from the guy who was going 30 in a 45 zone...hate him.  Anyway, as I was turning into the gates of the campus, I suddenly realized:  I had not changed shoes!  I was wearing squishy black and lilac crocs with my brown and burgandy outfit!!!

I seriously could not believe that I left my house without even CONSIDERING the shoes I was wearing.  I mean, what if I had been wearing slippers?

In other news, the work lady DID offer to pay me for my work today, but I told her that any of it I finished at the work place I wouldn't ask her to pay for.  But I did ask her to pay for any graphics I had to purchase.  So at least I won't be out any money on that type of thing.

*yawn*

I'm going to work on this invitation design for an 8-year-old's b'day and then figure out how I'm going to make all the goodies I need to make next week without passing out from sleepy.

idiot, me
