i just got back from a road test with my winter setup. yesterday i bit the bullet and bought the tires for my winter rims. not exactly something i wanted to do right before christmas, but if i were to leave my car on my summer tires...i would probably get into an accident before i could even leave my driveway

The s13 is the snow is a blast, Im about to head out for the day, Ill let you know how great it is when i return, perhaps without a car...

Just remember.

Couple inches = no problemo

SIX inches = getting high-centered and requiring a tow truck to get un-stuck

Okay. So maybe I managed to get un-stuck w/o any help. But it did help me realize that AWD isn't a panacea. ^_^
