I've been meaning to do this for a while, but I've been far too lazy. Anyway, last semester I took a course called Reading Film where we talked about how ideology has shaped the production of films in Western society. Okay, since we're applying to college this year, our English teacher made us write our college application essays for homework this weekend, and I decided to write about the whole racebending issue. I picked Avatar for the subject of my final essay for film/video theory, so I thought I would post it here in case anyone was interested.
