Kamenashi Kazuya was the kind of guy who was used to getting what he wanted. Including the attention of the person he had a crush on. He wasn't as foolish as to believe he could someone make fall in love with him, but he could at least make himself and his presence known to that person.

Or so he thought.

Today any subtle and even bold attempts to engulf Koki in a conversation were futile. When he had arrived in the Jimusho there had been more apologies, a short reassurance that the matter would be forgotten and then - nothing. Only short responses to questions and short smiles for the other members, otherwise the rapper seemed to be deep in thought.

But Kame wasn't stupid. When he had brought a very drunken Koki home, said man had addressed him with his name when he made a compliment, so the excuse of surely having mistaken him for a girl which he made the next morning didn't make much sense. Neither did the need for reassurance that they would forget about it. Or that Koki was avoiding talking to him. Friends would simply laugh about something like this.

Koki was acting suspicious. And suspicion always needs confirmation.

But as it always is, such things are easier said than done. Inviting Koki out for dinner had been fairly easy compared to what he was about to do. A little bit alcohol surely would help, so additional to drinking while eating they ended up in Kame's favourite karaoke bar where they just ordered their third drink.

"Now it's your turn!" Kame said while the last notes of the ballad he just sung filled the small room. He took the few steps towards the couch to hand the microphone over, but he tripped and landed half on Koki.

The rapper caught him and laughed. "Kame, are you drunk?" he asked amused. He himself could hold his liquor quite well. True, he already was at his fourth beer for the evening, but for him to get drunk he needed the hard stuff. Lots of it. Kame on the contrary needed much less to reach the mindclouding stage and he had been drinking sake from the beginning.

Kame looked up at him and was silent for a moment. "You're beautiful, Koki" he suddenly said. He could feel the other tense at those words and moved a little so his breath was ghosting over Koki's neck. He let his hand wander under the oversized T-Shirt and stroked the firm muscles beneath. "Sleep with me!" he murmured.

Koki's breath hitched. "K-Kame" he stuttered. "You-You're talking n-nonsense! You're drunk!"

No attempt to push him away. Kame smirked. "Drunk enough to tell the truth, but not drunk enough to talk nonsense!" he commented, coming face to face with Koki.

"K-Kame?"

"I love you!" he whispered, placing a chaste kiss on the other's lips.

Koki looked at him stunned, his face a mixture of shock, surprise, confusion - and was that hope in his eyes?

Kame smiled sadly. "You have no idea how much you have hurt me. I thought my dreams had come true and you put it down as nonsense." He drew near again. "While it is all I ever wanted" he breathed against Koki's lips.

"I'm sorry!" Koki whispered in response. "I've been afraid you would despise me." He put his hand on the back of Kame's neck and brought their lips together. Once, twice. A third time, a fourth. He looked Kame straight in the eyes.

"I love you."
