Suspicion.
Sunlight slowly filling the room was what woke Kame from his peaceful sleep. For a moment he felt disorientated when he didn't recognize his surroundings at first glance, then he became aware of the arms wrapped tightly around him.
The previous night came back to him, how he brought the other man home, got an explicit request from him - and a confession he had longed to hear.
He was at Koki's place.
Moreover, he was in Koki's arms.
Kame smiled, poking at the rapper's cheek since he was too impatient to wait until he woke on his own. He stopped when Koki began to stir and smiled even wider when said man opened his eyes and blinked a few times.
"Kame?" he asked incrediulously.
"Good morning!" Kame chirped.
"What are you doing here?"
Kame frowned a bit. "I brought you home last night, 'cause you had a bit too much to drink!"
"Explains the headache" Koki mumbled and shifted to get up only to realize the position they were in. He shrieked and was up immediately. "Kame, I'm so sorry!"
Kame sat up, clearly confused. "What for? I know you like to drink and I don’t mind taking care of you!" He smiled shyly. "It was unexpected, though, that you confessed to me."
"I - what?"
"The way you offered to have sex and the confession were the last thing I expected!" He laughed.
Koki looked stunned. "Kame, I-I... I'm so sorry!" With a considerable amount of alcohol left in his blood he even went on his knees to bow. "I'm so terribly sorry for rambling such nonsense! I've been drunk, I must've mistaken you for a girl! You look a bit girlish after all! I'm so so sorry!" A short pause. "I need to puke" he suddenly announced and ran of to the bathroom, not seeing the crestfallen expression on Kame's face.
That, Kame decided, had been the worst moment of his life. If it wasn't for the state of initial shock he was still in, he would be crying his eyes out for sure and most likely cause an accident.
Gazing at the road in front of him, his mind spun around the things Koki said the night before and his words in the morning.
"Sleep with me!" - "I must've mistaken you for a girl!" - "I love you!" - "Rambling such nonsense!" - "You're beautiful, Kazu!"
Kame slammed on the brakes as hard as he could, ignoring the cascade of honking he earned for it.
"You're beautiful, Kazu!"
Kazu. His name. Koki had said his name.
