Would You Rather...
Be single, or in a serious relationship?
I would prefer to be single. I don't think I'd be capable of being in a serious relationship even if I wanted it; I have problems with trust and empathy.
Be a fighter or a sacrifice?
I'd rather be a sacrifice. I wouldn't trust someone else with control over me, but I trust myself not to abuse the power.
Be street-smart or intellectual?
I am an intellectual by nature. Despite my complete lack of common sense, I'd rather stay the way I am if I'm only allowed to choose one. I might appreciate being a little less clumsy, though.
Live alone, or with a room mate?
It depends who the room mate would be. If it's my twin sister, I'd love it. If it's an annoying and noisy person, no way. In any case, I think my twin's the only person who wouldn't kill me after a week, and she's probably the only one I wouldn't kill after a week. For other scenarios, I'd be better off alone.
Live a short, exciting life, or a long, quiet life?
A short, exciting life, as long as it's the type of excitement I like (intellectual stimulation). As long as I'm not bored, I choose the short life.

A little-known fact about you:
To people in real life: I taught myself to read at the age of two, and I still remember it. To people I only know online: I'm in college. To everyone: I'm very uncomfortable about those facts.
Who do you look up to as a model for how to live your life?
No one in particular; I rely on a set of ideals.
What do people appreciate most about you?
Probably the fact that when I finally do feel emotions, they're 'childlike' in their purity. It's impossible for me to hide or to control what I feel, which is why I dislike emotions in myself--if I'm the 19th century Chinese Empire, my emotions are the opium trade and the British. This whole mess makes my emotions (and lack thereof) easy to read, so people don't have to second-guess anything.
I can imagine that some people only appreciate me for my usefulness. Smart kids are useful, and they're naive enough to let themselves be used by their peers. Not exactly a bright portrait of humanity, but it's a reality.
Three positive words to describe yourself:
Imaginative, enthusiastic (about ideas), analytical.
Three negative words to describe yourself:
Apathetic (about people), lazy, messy.
What quality do you value most in others?
If I had to isolate a single one... I suppose the best way to answer this is to say 'the way they use their potential'. I admire people who use whatever potential they have to the fullest.
The world's not a perfect place. What would you want to change about it?
I see numerous problems with the world, but there isn't one that stands out in particular. It would be nice to try out Plato's republic in a real-life situation though.
You're not perfect, either. What would you change about yourself?
I wouldn't change anything except my attitude towards my past. It has some 'unhappy' aspects, and those often reappear to stab me in the back when I don't expect it. I'd like to be able to move forward.
Do you believe in people?
No. They have demonstrated countless times that they aren't worth my trust.
In yourself?
More so than in people.
If you were given the chance to become one of the characters for a short period of time, who would you choose?
Natsuo or Youji. I'm curious about what it's like not to feel pain.
If you had the chance to become a part of the Loveless-verse (as yourself) for the rest of your life, would you take it?
I'd accept if I liked my partner and wasn't the fighter.
Who is your favorite character?
Kio. He's intriguing.
Your least favorite?
Nisei.

Show us 1-2 pictures of yourself! (No cosplay pictures, please) If you don't have a picture, give a brief description of yourself.
Note: This is not a mirror rating, however, seeing what your aesthetic is does tell us more about your personality!
The typical geek. Average height, thin, maybe a bit scrawny, messy brown hair, grey eyes, dark circles under the eyes, glasses. I also look younger than I am.

OPTIONAL BONUS QUESTION*
Defying all expectation, a group of Scottish marine biologists capture a live Loch Ness Monster. In an almost unbelievable coincidence, a bear hunter in the Pacific Northwest shoots a Sasquatch in the thigh, thereby allowing zoologists to take the furry monster into captivity. These events happen on the same afternoon. That evening, the president announces that he may have thyroid cancer, and will undergo a biopsy later that week. You are the front-page editor of the New York Times: What do you play as the biggest story?
Heh, the Sasquatch and Loch Ness Monster story.
