A) Soul Eater 65 is OUT, FINALLY. YAY.
... I don't know whether to laugh or be creeped out by Gopher (what kind of name is this anyway?) and his.. err.. obsession-or-whatever. Oh well. Don't really care for Team Noah. Also, Kid looks good as a prisoner. Just sayin'. And why am I detecting *something* between Justin and Giriko? Yeah.
Okay, late to the convo, but Soul/Maka is so, totally canon. THEY'RE ADORABLE AND BICKER WHILE FIGHTING AND AARRGH. The "I like your wings, in other ways" thing was cute :D The wings itself? AWESOME. (The eagle-y, pointy ones- but the CCS ones are cute too, albeit non-practical)
Pretty good chapter, but what's most exciting is the previews of things to come (Medusa&Chrona stuff, for example). Ah, October 10th seems so far, far away.
B) Megavideo decided to be kind with me and let me watch Glee's second episode yesterday.
I'm hooked. There are problems all over the place and some questionable moral statements but overall, it's fun, it's entertaining and I need to watch new shows that's light enough to follow. I LOVED Will's Gold Digger's performance; perfect irony in regards to his home life, by the way. Push It was not bad, but still no contest to Pilot's Don't Stop Believing. I hate Rihanna's Take A Bow, sorry Rachel. You have a great voice though. AND Emma! Her All By Myself-scene was absolutely adorable and funny and sad.
I'm not interested at the Quinn/Finn/Rachel triangle they're pushing. Not interested at Finn, in general. He's just so.. fickle. And not in a good way. I'm actually kinda sorta shipping Rachel/Will at the end of the episode- HEY. NOT MY FAULT THEY LOOK MORE INTERESTING, OKAY.
Can't wait for the next episode. One bone to pick, though: I think I kind of became sensitive to these issues, but I don't know what it says for the show when it's having multiracial and gay characters in the Glee Club- only to give all the lead performances AND plot points to well, the white boy and the white girl and the white cast. Yeah. Just.. yeah.
C) WHAT. THE MANGA IS ENDING IN TWO CHAPTERS. WHAT. *BRAINBREAK*
...H-HOW ARE THEY GOING TO RESOLVE ALL THOSE PLOT!HOLES?? AND I NEED MORE OF THE VAMPIRE TWINS, DAMMIT! AND THE HUNTERS! OH CLAMP WHHYY.
