Today's mmom fic was my 98th story posted. I don't know what compelled me to count. Now that #100 is coming, I want it to be meaningful or something, but really, it's going to be another wank fic. I don't have anything else ready - except my wcpairings fic, and now I wish I'd seen this coming and I would've done a really great Five Times one or something. I have ( Read more... )

Just in case you didn't catch them all, here are the ones that haven't been filled with a proper story:

Prompt/request: Scene from The Event
Characters: Neal, Elizabeth, possibly others
Would Like: A scene from episode 1x19 of The Event revamped. And really really intense emotional Neal!Whump. More explanation below.
Don't Want: Good question. Neal to kill himself over his grief/blame (I mean literally, not figuratively). The person in the coma to quickly and fully recover. (Yeah, I know, but I'd like this to be drastic.)

Okay, I think I need to explain this. I watched episode 1x19 of The Event tonight. And while I'm not even that big a fan, there was this scene where Christina Martinez sits by her husband's hospital bed and then Blake walks in. I'd love to turn that scene around and put Neal in Christina's place. I don't think you need to have watched the episode. You should be able to work with the below posted snippet of the scene.

I'll leave whoever "he/she" is up to you. And because I'm not much of a Neal/Sara shipper, I wouldn't even mind if you put Sara there, maybe after she and Neal have been an item for a while and he's gotten attached. You know, to have more of an impact.

Snippet from The Event here:

Neal is sitting in a chair next to XYZ lying in a hospital bed, hooked up to tubes and machines. A ventilator breathes for the person. Neal has exhaustedly fallen asleep on his arms crossed on the edge of the bed.

Elizabeth edges closer, hesitantly standing in the door before she enters the room. Neal notices the movement and looks up.

"Elizabeth."

She walks closer, draws him into a hug.

"How is s/he?"

Neal shakes his head. "It's not good. S/he slipped into a coma after the surgery. The doctors don't know what triggered it. They say if s/he doesn't come out of it soon..."

"Don't even think like that."

"This stroke, it just came out of nowhere. I keep thinking it must have been because of the stress s/he's been under. I should have done something. To make him/her try to deal with it..."

"Neal, this isn't your fault. There's... nothing you could've done to help him/her, to prevent this."
