I'm in West Palm Beach Florida until midway through next week. The trip has been fun so far, but I seriously think it's just a way of killing a week before Momocon.  By the way, I am 95% done with my Nao cosplay. Currently, it is 70 degrees outside. I am totally loving this weather. *___*

So...

I only made it to the first fifteen minutes of my Japanese class today so I could take the listening part of the midterm (despite the fact that I have an ebil stomach bug and spent a sizeable chunk of last night throwing up). However, those few minutes were QUITE epic imo.  I blame Joe for wearing his  "I <3 Yaoi Boys" shirt.

The weekend was pretty busy with graduation, awkward parties, and general fun.  Saturday night, I went out with Lauren then helped Rachel redecorate and repaint her room.  Then yesterday I drove through a severe thunderstorm to finish Honey and Clover at Rachel's.  I could barely see 3 feet in front of me, 5 Points had flooded, and I could hear ( Read more... )

Now that all the drama has been dealt with, I am going to Japan this summer with Rachel. The dates for the trip are July 21-August 5 and we're going to see the second HyouteiMyu and ROCK IN JAPAN FEST.  It doesn't look like BUMP is playing, though. T_T (Maybe we'll find Chama in the crowd? *hopeful*)

It feels really good to be getting back into sports.  I'm going to tae kwon do practice regularly three times a week now, plus I've started tennis.  It's a lot of fun, actually.  Mitchell's a really good teacher, and Joe and I get quite competitive. =D I'm going to go take a shower now because I'm a sweatball.

Note to self: don't put off studying Japanese ever again.

Last night was totally worth it, though. Sushi/cold tempura + Cosmo magazine + Never Have I Ever + amazing friends for the win! =D

Apparently one of my friends got engaged over the break.  I don't think I've ever seen her this happy, so I think this will be a good thing.  Hell, I'm excited for her. XDXD
