busy/lazy
i meant to get up early this morning and go for a run...but i didn't! i finally levered myself out of bed at 9:30am and got ready to go sofa shopping. i did my research last night, kinda knew the sofa i was looking for and the two places i was going to stop by. well the first one was closed, so i drove to the second one. walked in. saw the sofa, sat on the sofa, ordered the sofa. it'll be delivered on tuesday after 3:30pm. it took about 5 minutes. scary. not expensive though, and well within the budget i had imposed upon myself. yay!
of course last night i went for a walk, ended up at target and spent over $100 (i live in a DANGEROUS neighbourhood!! lol)...so yeah, budget? hmmmm...of course most of what i bought was for charlotte. i got some toys from her birthday wish list and a totally cute halloween outfit (a sparkly pink tutu skirt and a matching pink t-shirt with a skull on it, stripey pink tights and some halloween socks black and pink with a cat on them).
anyway i got home after the sofa experience and discovered i had NO motivation to clean so i watched some dexter season 4 (got the series from netflix) and then walked down to the post box to mail it back. when i came back one of my new neighbours was sitting on the steps, so i ended up chatting with him, and his roommate, and made plans to take them out and show them some glendale bars...they are nice guys, too young for me (early 20's i'd say) totally new in town from the midwest...awwww. cute! anyone want one? i am evil.
anyway, i got some music on, put some more pictures up and vacuumed, which rufus did NOT appreciate. now i am eating dinner, then i'll look up the bus schedule (oh yeah, we are doing the rachel's famous bus route pub crawl).
tomorrow i need to get up early to go hiking with scott and then i am seeing a play in the afternoon with dana. i have so much planned this week...i am leaving on friday!!! arg!! so excited!
