Double Tragedy
Julie-Ann had been doing reasonably well. She’d undergone a few operations to fix various things.
Jacinda’s funeral was today, and sadly, Julie-Ann died a few hours before it. There aren’t any words for this.
I was already missing Julie-Ann. Now she’s really gone. And I can’t imagine what I’ll do without her. I can’t imagine anyone replacing her. We were a good team. We were a great team - as joint leaders of the DUST team. Julie-Ann is going to be sorely missed by countless people. She was always so full of life, and always cheerful, despite the challenges life has thrown at her.
Rest in peace, Julie-Ann, with your lovely Jacinda at your side. You’ll be missed by many many people. xxx
