Tragedy
Yesterday evening a small plane went down in Western Victoria. The pilot and a fifteen year old girl were killed. The other passenger, Julie-Ann, the girls mother is now in a critical condition in hospital in Melbourne.
Julie-Ann is my “other half” when it comes to DUST - our Etsy Street Team. We share the work of running and managing the team. I think of us as the team mothers. But now she’s in an induced coma in ICU, unaware that she’s lost her fifteen year old daughter Jacinda.
Julie-Ann and Jacinda come from a country town - Nhill. Julie-Ann does a whole lot for her community, as well as for our team. Please say a prayer, light a candle, send good thoughts - whatever it is you do at times like this, for my friend, and her family at this very difficult time.
