Thirty Days - Day Three

This is really difficult. I don’t actually have just one favourite show. I have lots. If I could only choose one to watch for the rest of my life I don’t think I could.
criminal minds
I love Criminal Minds. I really like so many of the characters - Garcia, Morgan, Reid, JJ…. and I love crime stories, whether they’re TV, movies or books.
bones
I love Bones. I really like the books as well as the TV show, despite the fact that they’re not the same. Even the explanation that the books are meant to be in the future from the books doesn’t really make sense to me. Either way. I like it. I love Temperance, and Angela. And Cam, and I like Booth, and Hodgins, and Sweets,and all of the interns too. I like forensics. And crime. So this one joins CM as one of my faves.
stargate SG1
I love all of the Stargates. I loved the movie, and then when the TV show came out I loved that right away too. I think Sam and Daniel would be my favourite characters.
stargate atlantis
I loved Atlantis too. I may have even enjoyed that more than I did SG1. I think Ronan, Teyla and Rodney were my favourite characters, although later on I really liked Dr Keller. Actually, I like all of the Stargate doctors (or medics) - Dr Frasier, Dr Lam, Carson Becket and TJ. TJ is especially cute.
stargate universe
I know this doesn’t show the whole cast of SGU, but I was amazed when I found it, and realised that the person top right is Alaina Huffman - TJ. I thought she looked like Sha’uri (played by Mili Avital, in the movie - Sha’re in the TV series was played by Vaitiare Bandera) and wondered why they had her in a SGU cast picture!
I like Chloe, TJ, Eli and Camile.
the L word
The L Word was one of my all time favourites, I think. I was so disappointed when it ended. I loved Tasha. I really liked her character, and thought she was so hot! I liked Bette and Tina as a couple too.
True Blood
True Blood returns on 26 June (I think). I love this show. I don’t know why, but I really do. I love Sookie, I think her reaction to being told she was a fairy was classic. And I love Tara, Eric, LaFayette and Jessica is really growing on me.
doctor who
I’ve watched Doctor Who all of my life. There were a number of years when I didn’t watch it, but I watched the beginning - William Hartnell was the Doctor then, and I’m watching now. I didn’t watch Doctors Six and Seven. (I did watch Blake’s Seven though
)
I think Ten is probably my favourite Doctor, with both Rose and Martha being my favourite companions.
Torchwood
Torchwood, as a spin off of Doctor Who had a head start. It didn’t really need it. I’ve loved that since the start too. And another thing I really love about this show is that every single one of the major characters (those who actually are part of the Torchwood team) have had onscreen same sex kisses. Jack and Ianto were even a couple. Actually - now that Martha is a team member now I wonder if we’ll get to see her kiss another woman….
I could probably keep going, but I think that’s enough TV for now.
