Well, I guess I have crossed that boundary into fandom again... I just got through with a week long obsession with Naruto and got that shit watched all the way up to Episode four of Naruto Shippuuden. The regular series lost steam
after Naruto fought Sasuke after he did his big "Dark Transformation" which was totally badass in its own right. I loved that whole episode and the fight sequence with Naruto going berserk with the Kyuubin's powers. and it had soo many "filler" episodes it kind of made me sick. Apparently it made a whole bunch of people in Japan sick as well as it will America when 4Kidz finally gets a hold of the rest of Naruto (not entirely sure but the last episode I saw on TV was the one where Gaara was turning into the one-tailed living sand creature and Naruto had turned "Boss Frog" as 4Kids likes to call him into a Kyuubin or nine-tailed fox.
The next part is anti-climactic as Naruto just bashes Gaara in the head when "Boss Frog" holds him to wake him up. In my humble opinion the best way to wake someone up is not to give them a head injury. lol I think this is about the 60th or so episode... I am not sure. I stopped paying attention to episode volumes all together when I watched them in a one week sitting. For those curious, there are 220 total episodes of Naruto and throughout it 110 are filler episodes. It doesn't start to get interesting again until the end of the series (215-220) and then you have to move on to Naruto Shippuuden which is being produced as we speak in Japan (korea w). They get all growed up in the new series and I like it because it is the end of the horrible filler that I had to watch... The new episode of Shippuuden doesn't air in Japan until the 15th of March and they will more than likely have it subbed and ready the next day. As for episodes 6&7 they will air in Japan two weeks later.
In other news, I am officially on day-shift here at work and I am not sure how I feel about it. I have been making strides at training someone to replace me but he seems, a bit slow in the head. Ie: one of those folks who would have made fun of me in high school if say he had been going to Central with me. In other words, not exactly someone I want to be working around. I had to sit with him and babysit this past week (WED-FRI) and every time we "worked" he seemed more interested in perks, talking to his friends, and watching horrible movies than he did about the job. I am not one to lecture for not doing much work on a shift but I like to think at least I gave some effort into learning the job before I started watching movies and stuff like that. I never really started watching movies and playing games and stuff like that until the 3 month or so when we had moved into our office and had about 2 weeks to settle in. Then I started doing crazy shit like bring a TV, microwave, and fridge to make myself a bit more comfortable. Now I have moved into the office across the hall where there is no such comfort and I am pretty much locked out of my old office. I don't mind leaving my stuff over there, but knowing that my shit was gonna be used by that guy we hired kind of made me sick. I wish it would have been someone I know and trust as opposed to a guy that would have never acknowledged my type of person at Central. Hint: He said: "I haven't missed a Friday night partying for almost 2 years..." My god...
Oh, the house's septic tank is completely and totally backed up. To the point at which there is standing water in the basement's sink. We haven't been able to use the toilet, sink, or dishwasher for the past week. But, that hasn't stopped us from bathing, cleaning clothes, or washing dishes. We just can run any water down the drain. Instead of sucking out the water manually like what we had to do last time this problem happened, we have done my idea of running a garden hose out of the bathroom window to drain the tub via gravity pump. No one has to suck on the water hose to get it primed though, we just have to set one end of the hose in the house underneath a faucet and let water run through it for about 10 seconds and this gets the water flowing and suction going. It can usually drain the tub in about as much time as it does to drain normally. The washer has it's own line as well. It drains out through a pipe in the garage every time it is run. As for the dishes, we wash them by hand in a big tub and dump the water outside when we are done. It has been an experience all in and of itself; An experience I care not to continue, uh... experiencing. So, as soon as I get a quick 3 thousand saved for a down payment on a car (maybe more) I will be moving up to Lexington in one of the apartment complexes over there off of Lakeshore drive. (Heritage or the Canterbury) This means of course though, that I will have to endure living at home for just a little while longer, but somehow after living 15+ years in that place, I doubt 3-4 more months will be intolerable. That is my life in a nutshell right now... Busy busy busy...
