RotM application: "Why Forgive and Forget, When You Can Remember and Blame?"

Aug 19, 2007 16:25

Forgive and forget is something that sounds simple enough, doesn't it? It would make life much simpler. We wouldn't need to carry with us insults that were said in the past, or memories that hurt us in ways that we may be ashamed to admit. If a mistake were to be made, then the slate could be cleared with forgiveness. It would be simple and easy.

I'm afraid I am not quite that forgiving. )

*thumbs up* Yesss. He wouldn't just take things simply! And that's another thing I love about him, he can look at both sides of the coin.

He is both sides of the coin, for that matter. On the one hand, conflicted and troubled by what he is. On the other... a Marauder.

... so many writing comms. So little time. RotM is good though! :D

He's definitely both sides of the coin, I totally agree! Heh, and speaking of looking at both sides of the coin, I had been torn between writing this one, or the Hero vs. Villain one (because you KNOW he needs to contemplate on both those positions and where he lands, exactly). I'm saving that for later, though. :)

It is! They have awesome topics, I really hope I can get Remus in. :D

Yes, he is.
Ohh Hero and Villain was a good one. My Henriette enjoyed that quite a lot. Oh well.

*keeps fingers crossed* More fics, more RP...

Tonks said I have a death wish - just going out to lunch I realised I wanted Teddy to walk in on Tonks and Remus kissing _>

Oh, and I talked with Fenrir's mun, she said wolf fight was quite all right with her.
Only Tonks is determinedly against it. Very, very determinedly. "No way am I letting him out without potion in the wild, if I can help it!" (Stage whisper so she can't hear me: Maybe you could talk Dumbledore into sending you out somewhere on a task...)

I'm sure I'll get to the Hero/Villain one soon enough. And even if he doesn't get accepted (although I really hope he does *crosses fingers too*) I'm planning on writing out fics with the topics and all. :) I'm having a lot of fun getting to know the character better with the fics and RP.

...is it wrong that I find that very amusing, and would be interested in playing that out as well? I can just imagine how flustered Remus would be!

I would *love* to play that out, but now Remus is having second thoughts after this conversation... [whispers back, away from muses: Was actually thinking, if it is done, he could try the Shrieking Shack again, and he could accidentally get out (since sometimes he would, if I remember correctly...?). Or Fenrir could get in...? Could be either one.]

Mhm. With the RP going at the rate it is, I'm barely having time to write anything more concise. Boy are things happening fast! At this rate, the war will be over by October... complete with betrayals, battles, and a complete and overwhelming victory. Maybe.
But yeah, writing the prompts, even when not on the comm? That's good.

Mm. Amusing is just starting to cover it. Drat the time difference... it's even more unfriendly for Teddy's mun than for me. But we could try.

Hah. Good for Remus! (T: You promised to stay as safe as you can!) And research is good! [whispers back: Not this moon though. We have to know if the potion will work. Tonks will start giving him the vile thing tomorrow. But oh dear you can imagine which side I'd be cheering for!]

Heh, hopefully with a complete victory! But it's really a lot of fun, although sometimes I need to go back and double-check that I haven't missed something. *g*

We could. (And I vote for should, even if our muses complain because that really would be an amusing thread, methinks) Maybe after Teddy's mun's PC gets better...?

Oh he's thrilled at the prospect of doing research for something, especially when it's regarding this. ;) (R: I will... He won't have to know it's us.) [whispers: Okay, but as long as Fenrir isn't dead by the next moon ;) That's going to be a really cool thread, I think. I thought Fenrir and Remus would get to face each other in DH (kind of to settle things, somewhat, you know?), but nothing. Gotta love RPing, is all I have to say. *g*]

Yesss. And yeah, catching up (especially after getting a solid eight hours of sleep) is a chore... *grins* Harry's mun said you were the voice of reason. Figures, I say. *hugs* Oh, and good job about Elena. Tonks has been churning to join in the search since yesterday, but I was at the limit...

Yeah. Mun said that Teddy's more worried about talking with Vic atm, so maybe another time. *grins* more kissing...

ohh yes. Research. (T: Do. Good. Want help?) [whispers: I think I have a knack for keeping that mun's muses alive. 'course, depends on what we let him do this full moon... Gotta love RP]

*sighs* As soon as I get my brain back together, Tonks will most likely be off to investigate Lucius too, I hope she can handle that.

I'm so glad you got some sleep, finally! *g* Aww, *blushes* thanks! I dunno why, but thanks. *g* I guess Remus might be rubbing off on me or something...? *hugs* Remus will let everyone know she's back when he gets her back to Fred's. Like I said, I'm glad you were able to rest. <3

*g* Okay!

(R: You're working too much as it is, love. I'll let you know if I need help, yeah?) [whispers: Yup, gotta love it!]

*hugs* Lemme know if you need our help for anything. <3

LOL My body just gave away on me. Oh well. *hugs* Remus being the voice of reason is just so NOT surprising!

The Fred/Elena thing is not in the same timeline as Teddy, and the new war. It's happening when Harry's 18, and Elena's Fred's first girlfriend. JUST in case things were unclear - which they probably aren't, but I'm all over the place anyway.

(T: Oh. You think of everyone... Yes, please. And I'll have your first portion of the Wolfsbane potion ready for you tonight.)

LOLs it's absolutely Tonks' drive. I'm not even that much into detective stories and solving cases, but she insists. But thank you very much, I'll let you know. (And another bounce reason for me today - my first muse, Christine Daae from the Phantom of the Opera - I think she's been finally found by a Phantom. YAYs)

Our muses are tiring us out, I think. ;) I pretty much collapsed into bed yesterday, too. Hee, and him being the voice of reason definitely isn't surprising. I'm just glad I can do him justice, at least with that, because I'd hate to screw him up.

Actually, I didn't know that! LOL, thanks for letting me know. :D

(R: ...I should be glad over that, but I'm not looking forward to the taste of it again. But thank you, for doing this. I'll go get some chocolate for afterwards.)

It'll be an interesting thread, I'm sure. :D (Yay! Congrats!)
