It IS hot here! (Big Sis says something about "more than 100 for a week," but I don't know what that means - "more" usually means something about snacks, or getting People-food.)
I don't have a pool, but sometimes when we walk I will get down in the little gullies and splash in the water. Haven't been able to do that much lately. All the gullies are just dry now.
I get to stay inside pretty much all the time (I'm an Inside-dog!) I like sleeping on the big white tiles in the front of the house. They're cool on my tummy and I'm right by the door so I can check on who is coming and who is going (and by the kitchen so I get fun smells) And, if I angle myself JUST right I can make sure I get to touch everybody who comes up and down the hallway to the back of the house, even when I'm sleeping!
Big Sis says your Mom was talking about something called a "cougar" and a "bear" - I've played with bears when I was younger, they were soft and squishy and sometimes they squeaked. But somehow their eyes and noses kept coming off - and sometimes just a little bit of their insides and the Family didn't like that very much.
I don't know what a "cougar" is, but Big Sis says it's a kind of cat? I like cats (Like [info]princess_carpe and Ben), but the neighborhood ones are very unfriendly when I try to go say "hello" I hope your cougar-cat is nicer. And, hey! - Is your Mom going to start buying cat-food? THAT would be cool! Cat-food is yummy-yummy! (Cat LITTER is a lot of fun too, but you can get in trouble for that.)
