So, today is Supernatural Season Two Premiere Day.
I had wanted to do this "Countdown Week" with various rec posts and such. But that didn't work out. In fact, I've barely checked my email this week, much less logged onto lj.
However, I just got home and there are STILL hours to go. So, if you, like me, are feeling "WHY IS IT NOT NINE/EIGHT O'CLOCK YET?" Try these links as a way to fill the time.
There were of course a rash of fics after Devil's Trap aired.
I am only sharing a few, those that really stuck with me. No less than three of which belong to trollprincess. They are listed in the order they were written in.
(Remember that some of these were written when we didn't know if we would even GET a second season.)
#1 On A Steel Horse This one not only went in my "Faves" memories folder but is marked “*shudders*”
sanyin was also apparently affected by this story, 'cause she wrote a follow up to it.

Another fic that earned a *shudder* in the notation when I first read it.
This is not actually a finale follow up. It's more of an AU where Devil's Trap didn't take place. Features Meg.

This is a lighter Devil’s Trap follow-up . . . or maybe not. (If you've read eloise-bright you know that she can bring the humor and fluff and still make a stong impact with her fics.)
And, yes, I know that those of you who have chosen a spoiler-seeking lifestyle already know the hows and whys and whats of tonight's episode and so these fics are all completely AU.
I don't care.

I discovered last year on Veronica Mars Season Two Premiere Day that fan musicvids are the PERFECT way to get yourself back into "character" if you will for the new season, if you don't have time and/or ability for a marathon.
Sadly, I have been very horrible about saving the links to where I downloaded my favorite vids and/or their time's run out.
