The Office has finally hooked me for good.
I will now be spending the summer catching up whenever I can, and adding yet ANOTHER show to my already-too-long list in the fall.

So, what finally convinced me, you say?
Well, I was already teetering on the edge of fandom. Tonight’s rerun almost had me with the actual *headdesk* (explained as, “From time to time, Jim dies of boredom.”)
But it was the brilliance of the ‘closing ceremonies’ - and “Oh. Those are the doves.” (But of COURSE they are!) that sealed my doom.
Yeah, yeah, I know. You TOLD me. Whatever. I'm crowded in on the bandwagon now, aren't I?
I suppose I should now officially declare - Jim is my new summer boyfriend.
(Okay, so maybe we’re actually still at the “crush” stage - but I don’t think this is going to be just a summer fling. - I really see this going somewhere.
