My Brain is Completely Criss-Crossed with Fandoms

So I'm watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (I just love those movies) and, you know how Indy's dad has that Grail diary? With all the pictures and maps and riddles ( Read more... )

How is it I never noticed the similarites before? They're practically screaming now.

As to writing a fic... why don't you?

THANK YOU!

You are the ONLY person that acknowledged the similarities and crossover potential inherent in these fandoms.

For that alone I would most likely friend you, but in between our other shared interests, it's a given.

I did. I do not have nearly enough Supernatural fanatics on my flist. I mean there are some, but most of them give their primary fandom interest to Veronica Mars, since that's where my online fandom activity originated.

But I feel my loyalties shifting somewhat, and it's nice to have a bunch of people who are completely enthralled with the show.

I've never seen "Veronica Mars", but I did read a crossover fic about one of the guys (Logan, or something) meeting up with Dean. It was fairly entertaining.

Oh, I've been obsessed with a show before (BtVS, "Charmed", and "Digimon") but never, _ever_ to this degree.

It's almost embarrassing.

But not quite.

Have you seen the " fandoms as drugs" post?

Yes, I think I found that through a link at TWoP.

(In case that comment seemed to come out of nowhere, I was going through my inbox and tidying up all email replies this morning.)

I'd like to, I've never really done fanfic before, but I am seriously considering taking the plunge this summer. (Supernatural is going to be the show that finally breaks me - those boys are just too much fun!)

I have one majorly crack!fic bunny that I've started on, but unfortunately, real life (and the need to, you know, get PAID) are demanding too much of my attention right now.
