Prison Break: Reactions

May 01, 2006 21:32

And I know that I never got around to typing up my other response comments from Thursday and Friday - I was busy having real life. I'll try to get 'em before the next eps roll around.

I should also let you know that I missed the last two-thirds+ of last week's Prison Break episode

First 60 seconds - AJFaKJsFLdS;fJLASJDSDJLAjk;LDJAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoa, Westmoreland!

(Edited to add, after I can think clearly enough to form actual sentences - How much do I love Westmoreland going into badass con mode?)

Hee, there's like HALF the prisoners in the yard trooping around after Michael now. So much for being inconspicuous.

He's going to cover his scent with BRUSSELL SPROUTS?

Okay, if Michael is NOT playing Tweener and is instead being played BY him, he ain't all that smart.

Annnnd, he just confessed escape to a prison official. Yeah, not that smart.

"The three who are still breathing"??? Okay, I didn't figure on THAT high a body count.

Westmoreland is going to kill somebody before this episode is over, isn't he? **

Now manure, THAT is good for scent-covering.

Huh, who would have figured C-Note to become the team security chief?

"The Bastard and the Born-Again" - sounds like a VERY cracked out O.Henry short story or something.

** That is, unless he dies first.

Okay, Michael still is with the quick-thinking. (Figured out what's going on with Westmoreland, came up with a solution) He just doesn't get PEOPLE at all, does he?

So, the escape is occuring on Pope's anniversary, that's...convieniant.

Ooookay, so Sara is going to aid in the escape as an act of rebellion agains Daddy? That actually makes SOME kind of sense. More than "that prisoner has such dreamy eyes" at least.

Okay, the scenes of the Escape Crew messing up their bedding was kind of funny - especially Abruzzi

"What are you doing?"
"The Loooord's work"
"The Lord wants you to spread horse crap all over your mattress?"
"It is not our place to question His will"

Heeheehee.
And the best part, his roommate doesn't even look all that nonplussed. You know, I can see where the religious nutcase role could come in handy in prison. (Especially combined with the crime boss/enforcer reputation)

Heeheehee! Okay, another funny bit - Sucre sure is fast with that pants-down toilet squat.

Golly, HOW many threads do we have unraveling? How many deadlines ticking?

Aw, Nick's trying to be all ToughBetrayal Guy. (and, notice, he did a small-of-the-back draw!)

Huh, who knew Bellick was such a Mama's Boy?

Oooo, the montage of motivations/flashbacks! Nicely done, and with the - wait, that isn't THIS show's theme music!

*gasp!* O, Westmoreland! That glass wasn't THAT big, was it?

Annnd, the door is sill locked.

At least they're pretending like Sara is really thinking and struggling over whether she's going to do this.

WHOA!

Okay, I did not see THAT coming!

Although, I did figure that a) Michael was going to be forced to really cross the line with physical violance and b) Pope (and the Taj) was going to have a semi-major role in the actual escape.

Whew!

One more week!
