Packing List - Clothes
So, I am actually putting everything into the suitcases tonight.
I thought I'd share with you the final lists.
Clothes for team presentations/appearances
Black blazer (three sizes smaller than the one I bought in September!)
Dressy black slacks (2 pairs)
More casual black slacks (2 pairs)
French blue dress shirt
Maroon dress shirt
White dress shirt with black filigree
Cream turtleneck sweater
Black w/cream accents wool sweater
Black sweater vest
Purple-y top with sequin details
Pale pink shell to wear under said top
White dress shirt
Red bandana
Brown felt cowboy hat (which I don’t know how to pack without squashing!)
Black CuddleDuds underwear top
White CuddleDuds underwear top
White CuddleDuds underwear bottoms
White camisole
STILL TO BE SELECTED: trouser socks, hose, pick out necklaces to take, buy new bra, dress shoes - I want to get these. They're Danskos and they feel WONDERFUL. But the store didn't have them in the right size. They're going to try to overnight some!
Other Clothing
My pajamas, which are a dusky purple lightweight sweatshirt and a soft pair of drawstring pants in lilac/violet - oh and fuzzy socks! Purple and purple striped!
Blue sweatshirt with “Oklahoma City: Native America” and a buffalo on it
T-shirt with a picture of the land run and “Oklahoma Land Run Centennial 1889-1989”
Light blue zippered hoodie-style jacket (only, no actual hoodie!)
Light blue tee with blue flowers painted on the front
Gray tee with glittery - what color are they? Teal? - flowers on the front
Aqua tee with my initial in purple on it (outlined in sequins!)
Red ribbed turtleneck
Dressy black top (just in case - it’s very lightweight)
Bathrobe
Nice, supportive walking shoes
*Black sweater with red/white/black striped cuffs and collar (made to look like two shirts)
*Jeans
*Sneakers
*3/4 length black coat with gray-black fake fur trim
Gloves
* = I will be wearing this on the plane.
STILL TO BE SELECTED: socks, underwear
So that gives me, what? Six team outfits and six individual outfits? So I’ll probably be wearing each top about five times? That sounds about right.
My walking shoes I just got today. They are these brown leather ones. They are INCREDIBLE!!! As soon as I slipped them on I knew I will ALWAYS have a pair of shoes like this FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE I WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT THEM AGAIN. I swear to you, my brain heard little sighs of contentment and it was being sent up from my feet!
