We have family friends who live out in the country on a ranch. They have recently come across two different baby 'coons. Too young to survive on their own and too hard to find their family. (The first one was about a week ago, the second one is only about a week OLD)
The dad is a professional rodeo rider (he's kind of the Michael Jordon of bronc riding, actually. Six time national champion. Any one who knows ANYTHING about the sport knows his name.) AND the mom just recently started back on the barrel-racing circuit. They both had a rodeo event this weekend and their son (whose my little brother's age and a close friend) spent the night here instead of traveling with them. (The kids usually go. In fact, they all participate in junior events. But there weren't any this time)
SO, since the kits have to be bottle-fed about six times a day ... extra house-guests!
