A Short Rant
"Once this ad ends you'll be returned to your LiveJournal experience."
Ptooey! If you cared about my “experience”, you'd put the ad at the END, so I could ignore it completely. I'd even be happier if you just said, “Once this ad ends, you'll be returned to LiveJournal.” Look, LJ, (or Facebook, or YouTube) I know you have to make money, and at least these stupid pop-up ads are FAR better than telemarketers, but I hate that last word “experience”. It's like “in yo' face” - it makes me think about my “expeerience” and how you just SOURED it by making me WAIT through at least half of the stupid ad until I get that relief of the X in the corner. If you didn't ask me about how I was feeling, about my LiveJournal experience right at that moment, I'd just mindlessly WAIT, semi-patiently for the ad to end ! Argh !
