Everyone agreed: Neal Caffrey was smooth.
At the moment, however, it was occurring to him that when you bring two smooth things together, you lack important things like friction. He picked himself up off the ice yet again, as Peter went whizzing past-backwards-with irritating skill.
"Can we go now?" he called across the rink. "I think I've bruised every part of my...er, my self."
Laughter echoed in the vast space. "Try putting some ice on it!"
"Ha. Ha." Neal struck out determinedly for the exit. At least he started to.
Ultimately, he ended up following Peter's advice.
