I love both of them - especially the first one. I've always explained in in my head that no one noticed because, hey, New Yorkers! We can't be bothered by anything that's not on our smartphone screens.

Also, just one little note. Before he parachuted off the 49th floor, Neal tossed his hat out and it magically just drifted to the street where he landed. No cross currents, no stiff breezes to send it floating through the canyons of Lower Manhattan.

Ooops! Darn. It's these little details that get you.

*ponders* Hmm, I'll have to think about how to fix that. Thanks for the heads-up, and for reading!

I remember being more annoyed that he just found his hat on the street than he parachuted off the 49th floor (too low) and landed and no one notice.

And oh, quite ironically, when you posted this, I was looking at bulk-buying jump rings for a chainmaille project.

There, adjusted for accuracy. :D Thanks again!

And yeah, that hat thing was silly...but as we've discussed before, Neal is magic.

As for the rings, hah! I'm glad I'm not the one with this strange hobby. ;) I like The Ring Lord for supplies. Their stuff is solid.

Haven't actually done a chainmaille project yet - still thinking about it. It's not like I don't have a million other jewelry projects I want to do (and finish).

:) If you give it a try, have courage! Even if you've done a lot of jewelry making before, you're still apt to have more than a few ballistic jump rings, at least during the first hour or two.

It's tons of fun, but man, I was finding jump rings for weeks after my first project.
