Peter froze at the feel of the silvery blade pressed against his neck. In his mind's eye, it glowed with sharpness. The situation was delicate-as delicate as the tender skin of his throat. One wrong move, and it could all end so badly. His cheeks were already flecked red with tiny cuts.
Still, he had to try.
Scarcely daring to breathe, he made his move.
"Dammit!"
Peter put down the safety razor, pressing a towel to the latest nick. He regarded the fancy shaving stand with resignation. El said old-fashioned shaving was in again...
...but he missed his Bic.
