apparently you can start a band and purposefully make it sound like a pre-existing already popular band and convince people to buy your albums and go to yr shows without ever deviating creatively from said path.

apply this formula: radiohead is to earthsimulator as dave mathews band is to dave mathews cover band. to some degree at least. is copying style and approach and form just as bad as copying content? arent they both inherently the same? are we such fools that we would purchase a jimi hendrix tribute before we would take a stab at electric lady land? well, its got all of our favorite soundz! sign the contract, dont expand.
