That's right, I'm supposed to be doing work, but I'm not. I'm currently in the library and I was making pretty good headway on one of two problems that I have left for Radiation and Detectors, then I sat at a computer and started slacking. I figured I would right because it is fun.
What has happened since I last posted. Well, I continued going to classes, I started my normal work schedule, and I have been swimming in captain's practices. Pretty much the normal. I did get Lost in Translation on Wednesday, which I am looking forward to watching when I have time, which will probably be after the GRE. Today I talked to the Administrative Assistant for the Optics Department and pretty much vented everything that I have to do (applications, etc). I also found out that I can be a full time student with only 12 credits, since I am taking 3 classes, 2 credits of research, and auditing Japanese. I could be taking Japanese for credit, just so that it wouldn't look like I was slacking off my senior year when only 14 credits show up on my transcript. I don't know whether I would go back to the Single Photon Sources that I was doing last Spring, or whether I would do something in the Center for Visual science. For some reason the eye seems really interesting to me now. I could be taking Japanese for credit, just so that it wouldn't look like I was slacking off my senior year when only 14 credits show up on my transcript. I hope there is someplace that I can enumerate the other things I was doing with my time, the Japanese, working at Laser Lab, and Swimming. That's what has been going on in my life.
As for what will be going on soon, as anyone who has been around me or talked to me knows, I'm taking the GRE this Saturday. We shall see how I do and that's about all I'm going to say about that. Saturday night will be fun. I will probably be the one that takes the hit and is the person to wake up the others in the morning. I don't mind though. We will be waking up early (5:30am) on Sunday to volunteer at a Triathlon in Canadaigua. I don't mind waking up early if I was going to race in a Triathlon, but this will be torture. I will want to race so bad, but I don't have a bike, so I can't train. After that, the next big day will be the 21st, the first day of official swimming practice. I'm hoping I'll be able to struggle through it. The good part of that day is that it is Danielle's Birthday!!
That's about all I can think of for now
